DAILY SCHOOL SCHEDULE: On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday school begins at 8:45 AM and ends at 3:15 PM for all students in Grades 1-5.

AM Kindergarten begins at 8:45 AM and ends at 11:20 AM.
PM Kindergarten begins at 12:40 PM and ends at 3:15 PM.

EARLY RELEASE EVERY WEDNESDAY: The students will be released at 2:15 PM.

AM Kindergarten will be released at 10:50 AM.
PM Kindergarten will start 12:10 pm and dismiss at 2:15 with the rest of the students.

The schedule for Wednesday is:
START- DISMISS GRADES 1-5: 8:45 AM-2:15 PM
AM KDG: 8:45 AM-10:50 AM
PM KDG: 12:10 PM-2:15 PM

SCHOOL CLOSING AND DELAY: On mornings when the weather is inclement and it is questionable as to whether school will be in session, please listen to the local TV and radio stations or call the Oak Hills Local School District TEC Line at 347-2970.

If school is canceled, it will be announced as “Oak Hills Schools are closed.” It will not be announced as: Delshire School. If it is announced as “TWO HOUR DELAY” the following times will apply for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Delshire 10:45 am - 3:15 pm.

On Wednesdays, (early release days) hours are: 10:45 - 2:15. AM Kindergarten and AM Preschool will not meet on days that the district is on a two hour delay. If weather conditions worsen during the day, listen to the TV or radio (PLEASE do not call the school office) to see if afternoon kindergarten is canceled or an early dismissal is announced.

Busses will transport students home early for an early dismissal and car pool drivers are expected to arrive early.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT PARENTS EXPLAIN ANY SPECIAL PROCEDURES ABOUT GOING HOME TO THEIR CHILDREN IF AN EARLY DISMISSAL IS NECESSARY.
