Rapid Run Middle School was most recently rated "Excellent"
by the State of Ohio. This is the ninth consecutive year that we have
earned an "Excellent" rating from the State. Rapid Run is
committed to meeting the needs of all students in the classroom and
challenging them to strive for excellence in everything they do. Our
academics contain a strong 21st century learning focus with innovative
technology embedded in the classroom. Our goal is to promote and develop
critical thinking skills, strong communication, and the ability to work
collaboratively to solve real world problems.
Rapid Run offers accelerated classes in many of its subject areas. Eighth
grade students have the opportunity to take high school credit classes
allowing them to take more Advanced Placement and Dual-Credit classes
while attending high school. Rapid Run also has numerous elective classes
such as Spanish, German, Art, Fitness Education, Orchestra, Band and
Choral Music. For those students needing additional support we offer
a double block of Language Arts and Math support in our Reading and
Math Success (RAMS) courses. Our "Learning For All" passion
permeates all that we do.
ENCOURAGE, ENGAGE, AND EDUCATE is a focus of Rapid Run Middle School.
