Scholarships and Aid
Scholarship Information
As students begin developing long-range goals, they should seriously consider applying for scholarship opportunities. While colleges and universities can be far more expensive than many students realize, scholarship awards are a great way to defer some of the financial obligation and make dreams a reality. Scholarships are FREE money and do not need to be paid back. Students should apply for as many scholarships as they are eligible.
Students can be eligible for scholarships based on a wide range of criteria. The most common are for students who have an excellent academic record, have attained superior SAT and/or ACT scores, have involved themselves in co-curricular activities and leadership opportunities, or have a unique talent. Scholarships are also, however, available for more specific or obscure talents or traits; for example, students that are left-handed. Take every opportunity to earn scholarship recognition.
