Advanced Placement Opportunities
Oak Hills High School strives to offer students choices and opportunities that will prepare them for their next steps after graduation. We have consistently offered rigorous curricular experiences that expose our students to quality instruction and college-aligned coursework. The Advanced Placement (AP) program, offered in 26 courses, is one such opportunity.
Beginning with the 2011-2012 school year, Oak Hills will no longer require students enrolled in AP courses to take the AP exam at the conclusion of the course. While the quality of the rigorous curriculum will remain the same, students will be given the option of taking the AP Exam in May. Students choosing to take the exam will be responsible for the $90 exam fee for each exam taken.
Oak Hills continues to support the Advanced Placement program and highly encourages students to consider taking the AP Exam in May. The exam opens incredible opportunities for students to earn college credits while still in high school. Research shows that high school students who choose to take an AP exam are more likely to graduate from college than students who do not, regardless of their AP exam score.
Each AP student must complete the Commitment to Take 2012 AP Exam form and return it to the Business Office at OHHS. Below you will find links to the documents.

The report card is an annual measure of schools' and districts' academic success.
The state department of education combines students' scores on standardized achievement tests with other factors, such as graduation rate and attendance, to assess public schools and districts.

Yohey said the district is pleased it met all report card indicators and had two school buildings – Delshire Elementary and Dulles Elementary – rated Excellent with Distinction. He said the district will once again aim for an Excellent or higher rating this school year. "We plan to continue our focus on high student achievement and quality instruction with emphasis on career and college readiness with global competency," he said.

EZPay System Now Available at OHHS for Lunches and Fees
Oak Hill High School has implemented the Meals Plus point‐of‐sale system for food service. Oak Hills is excited to now partner with SPS EZpay to provide parents an online system to add to your child’s lunch account, as well as pay instructional fees. You may use your credit or debit card for the transaction in the convenience of your own home!
Parents who use the on‐line system must first create an account. You will need your student ID number as part of the on‐line registration. No personal information about your student is available online. The district does not keep your credit card information on file and you will need to re‐enter your credit card information each time you use the online system.
You can access the new on‐line payment website by going to the Oak Hills High School website (www.oakhills.k12.oh.us/Oakhills) then click on SPS EZpay logo at the bottom of the Quick Links to be transferred over to the payment site.
Complete the registration page, and add your child’s name and ID number. Once you have registered and created a password, you will not need the student ID number again. You can check your child’s account balances as long as you have access to the internet. If you elect to do so, you can even receive a “Low Lunch Balance” email.
Please be sure to allow SPS EZpay into your email otherwise it will be considered spam and will go into your junk email.
